Ship Shape - Your choice of sailing ships will make a big difference in your adventure. Try a fast ship and hope for good weather to do a quick sprint across the Atlantic, or go for a bigger ship with more sailors and supplies to try your hand at a rugged crossing.

Hunger Management - No matter what kind of ship you choose, you'll have to cut down on rations eventually - there's just not enough food for the whole trip! Try experimenting with when you cut down the food supply, not just eating it all up until it's gone.
