Affiliate Tips

Displaying The Free Content Online Games

- Show "Free Download" and "Order Now" buttons. Place download and order links next to each online game you place on your site.
- Push downloads. Users that install the game are more likely to buy the full version. Push the "Free Download" when possible.
- Say "Order Now" or "Get Full Version". Do not use the word "Buy Now" which is negative to users.
- View a good Example. See these ideas in motion.

Promote, Categorize, and Target

- Target, Target, Target. Get in the user's head. What is each user looking for? Give them the games tailored to their desire.
- Categorize games. Show games in categories, such as Arcade Games, Puzzle Games, etc. Make it easy for users to find what they want. The more targeted the game play is the more it will drive a sale.
- Mix try/buy games into your content. Don't simply add a separate "premium games" or "downloads" section to your site. Integrate the try/buy games fully into your site including new games, categories, etc.
- Provide a downloads section. Show a section where just game downloads are available. Users that install the game are more likely to buy the full version.
- Promote the best sellers. Use your best retail space to promote the best selling games, don't waste your exposure on weak sellers. If you need sales updates, just ask us!

Affiliate FAQ

Q: How can I check if I've passed my affiliate ID correctly?
A: Clear your browser cookies then test the download or other link you have passed to our site. Then view the order page for that game on our site. Below is a great order page link to test with. You should see a small "Affiliate: XXXX" text message showing your affiliate ID at the bottom of the order page. If that message does not appear, then please double check your links.
