2004 was a very exciting year for both online and try/buy games. Quality increased dramatically and we saw some excellent titles released. From all indications 2005 is going to make your jaw drop!

1st Place

Alpha Force Some of the best weapon powerups and incredible bosses to defeat we've ever seen in an online game, with great depth to boot. If only it had a higher frame rate.

2nd Place

Betty's Beer Bar Features the coolest and most endearing characters to ever frequent a bar. Why is that guy in a giant panda suit anyhow?

3rd Place

Bouncin Bop 100 of the coolest and most bizarre levels ever seen in a free online game. Much of the art was hand drawn on paper then transferred to the computer.

Turbo Tanks incredible computer AI control not usually found in an online game. Could have taken 1st place if not for the old school graphics.

Richochet Lost Worlds The online version is great, the downloadable version is simply incredible! Features great attention to detail. Watch schools of fish dart around in the background just for example.

Platypus Some of the coolest claymation graphics ever seen in a game. We bet the author spent way too many hours for his own good animating this work of art.

BLOX Forever One of the most challenging online puzzle games out there with great graphics too boot. To bad we can't award ourselves 1st place, nuts.

Roll On Brings 3D gaming online with lots of great levels and good solid gameplay. If only the author had fine tuned game play a little more, it could have easily placed in the top 3.

Dropheads If you think the online version is fun, just try the downlodable version that features greatly enhanced graphics and game play.

Castle Cat 3 Take one crazy cat with a castle and a cannon on his head, add many great levels and really cool mini-game levels. You get a game that just endears to us.

Turbo Spirit Great 3D motorcycle racing with good solid game play. One of the smartest uses of Flash for an online game we have ever seen.

Feeding Frenzy It's a fish eat fish world out there, gobble up all the little fishies to become the big fish in the sea. Features incredibly polished and addictive game play.
